    Perfect for applying powder

    This is the first natural hair brush I've bought from Crown Brush and I must say I'm quite impressed with the quality of the hairs. This brush is not only uniformly soft, it has not shed at all. The brush head is rather large, about 1" across the base and from the base to the tip of the highest bristles it measures almost 2". This is rather large, and the bristles are just sparse enough that I would not recommend using it for precise placement of any color makeup, however the tapered brush head and and large size of the brush makes it perfect for applying face powder or a light application of blush all over the cheeks.
    Though I am very pleased with this brush, I must note that the bristles are not precisely placed and on close inspection you'll notice areas of the brush head that are slightly denser than others. This is no huge flaw in my opinion, but this is definitely a brush for light and general applications of powder.
    The ferrule is silver colored and attracts fingerprints, while the black handle is made of plastic and has an imprinted and a heat stamped logo, along with number (C500) of the brush. I appreciate that these details were imprinted into the plastic before the logo was applied because logos and names often fade if they're only applied to the surface of the handle. If I decide to repurchase this brush in the future it will be that much easier to find.
